What is the rapid battery sampling service?

Before the mass production of the battery, the battery prototype is a “strong heart” for our customers. The comprehensive battery test allows our customer get more data, and then decide whether to put into mass production or use it on the product for testing.

In addition to the standard capacity test, we also perform a comprehensive cycle test on the batteries to ensure a better display of test data such as Internal resistance, voltage, performance, discharge temperature, storage, discharge rate, safety, etc.

How fast of rapid?

In order to get test results faster, in the production and testing procedures of the samples, they also need to be separated from the regular product line to independently produce and test the battery samples.

The first step involves obtaining all documented information on the battery project that gets sent to our development team to review internally. We will then engage with the customer engineering group to discuss specific requirements for the batteries they require. This can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending on what information is offered, and availability of the engineers to discuss on a call.

However, after the engagement with our engineers, we determine the plan and preparing the materials, the production, and the testing period can be further shortened to the extent of 7 days of conversion.

Grepow’s stacking technology provides the ability to produce samples in a short amount of time, which is faster than the traditional winding method.

Ordinary Batteries can be manufactured and tested in as early as 20 days.

  2. Evaluation
  3. Confirmation of initial planning (1 day or according to customer requirements)
  4. Sample Production and Testing

Why you need sampling service?

In addition to shortening the period for product development, the benefits of the rapid sample service are testing the performance and feasibility of the formulation, which helps our partners to develop more powerful products.

We sometimes receive some requests from our customers, for testing the formulation of the battery, such as some special and new anode or cathode materials, electrolyte or diaphragm. But there is no ability to manufacture and test, and we are a pleasure stick together to develop.
