In the event of power failures in industrial plants, companies, or data centers, the Direct Current Uninterruptible Power Supply (DC UPS) utilizes momentary high-current discharges to provide uninterrupted power support for your equipment. It can sustain critical 12V/24V power for several hours, offering sufficient time to save important files, rescue crucial data, and safeguard technology.
During non-natural interruptions in the power supply, providing brief power to critical equipment allows users the time to safely shut down devices or switch to another stable power source, such as a diesel generator. This helps prevent data loss or system crashes.
In general, the power consumption of a PC or industrial computer is around 200W. If traditional lead-acid batteries or typical cylindrical lithium-ion batteries are used, the inevitable result is a relatively large battery volume. Typically, their discharge rates do not exceed 510C, and increasing discharge power requires adding more batteries in parallel to enhance capacity. However, utilizing LiFePO4 batteries crafted through the lamination process, characterized by ultra-low internal resistance, enables the effortless release of currents at rates of 1050C. With just 1/3 of the volume, these batteries can meet the discharge power requirements for Industrial Computer UPS, while also satisfying special criteria such as fast charging, performance in high and low temperatures, and extended lifespan.
