On November 23, the 6-day 2019 China University Student Formula racing (Zhuhai Station) and the "FSEC 2019 (NextEV Formula Students Electric China)" and the Chinese University Student Unmanned Formula Competition (FSAC) on the Zhuhai Airshow Center came to an end.

What is FSEC (NextEV Formula Students Electric China)?

FSEC is a public welfare project for undergraduates of automotive related majors. The first "FSEC" was held in Shanghai 2015 by NIO, the world-famous F1 track, in November 2015. 30 electric teams competed in the same field. The second competition invited the German KIT team to Shanghai to exchange games, which became a step towards the internationalization of the event. It is co-sponsored by the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineers and the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation.

The competition is divided into 3 static competitions (design report, cost report, marketing report) and 4 dynamic competitions (8-character loop, linear acceleration, high-speed obstacle avoidance, and durability test).

The Chinese University Student Formula Race is already the world's largest number of local teams and the largest number of participating teams. Compared with previous competitions, the overall level of the student team has improved significantly this year, including the vehicle inspection rate, the degree of familiarity of the players with the venue, and the overall process of the infield.


In this competition, nearly 2,000 students from 54 pure electric fleets and 14 self-driving fleets came here through breakthrough levels. In the future, they will become the backbone of the "upward" development of China's auto industry.

After a fierce competition, in the 2019 FSEC: Grepow team Hunan University won the crown and won the FSAC 200,000 yuan abroad award. In the summer of 2020, they will represent China and recruit world university students Formula E in Germany; the partner Xiamen University of Technology was second runner-up, and Liaoning University of Technology was third.

At the same time, congratulations to Liaoning University of Technology for winning the championship in the 2019 FSAC. Beijing Institute of Technology and Harbin Institute of Technology were runner-up and runner-up.
